Who is Dark Spyro?
Dark Spyro is an alternate, corrupted version of the beloved purple dragon, Spyro. Depending on the game, he has appeared as a manifestation of Spyro's dark emotions, an evil doppelgänger, or a controllable form that harnesses dark magic. The character's design and backstory have evolved across three main eras of the franchise: The Legend of Spyro Trilogy Origin: During The Eternal Night , Spyro comes into contact with corrupting dark energy. This initially turns him into a mindless, feral beast.
